Join the Lake Court House Foundation in a celebration of patriotism as we honor local Army Reserve Veteran, noted businessman, humanitarian and philanthropist Frank Schilling as the 2018 Patriot of the Year for his contributions to Lake County. Enjoy a five-star brunch provided by Noka's Catering and patriotic musical performances during a program that celebrates the American spirit. Tickets for this all-inclusive brunch are $100 a person and are available online or by calling 219-663-0660. The brunch takes place from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Maki Ballroom of the historic Lake Court House. Proceeds from this event help provide for the maintenance and upkeep of the historic Lake Court House in downtown Crown Point. The Grand Old Lady is marking her 140th birthday this year.
Lifelong region resident and president of Schilling Home Improvement Center and Schilling Development, Frank Schilling, believes giving back is one of the jobs of living. His passion for the community inspired Schilling to create and build the Shrine of Christ's Passion in 2001, a labor of love which has become a destination for 200,000 visitors of all faiths each year. The Patriot Brunch allows all of us to come together to celebrate our heroes while remember those who were lost in the service of our country.
